Arbor Castle Birdhouses
Since time began hollow trees are the traditional provider of shelter and nesting sanctuary for birds as well as mammals. Inspired by the subtle coloration, character, and natural beauty of the woodlands, Joseph Hoopps took this ancient life sustaining shelter to a new level. The different shapes, colors and textures make Arbor Castle Birdhouses unique among birdhouses as well as to each other. Each house is decorated with hand crafted and found objects. The whimsy brings smiles with the addition of stairs, ladders, turrets, dormers and two story entry ways. Upon completion, the character of each house, speaks at once of mirth, whimsy and days of yore. Arbor Castle Birdhouses are fully functional although many collector's enjoy Joseph's bird castles as unique and original works of art and place them in an indoor setting. Open daily 10am-5pm. 8301 FM 279, Edom. 903.852.7893. www.arborcastlebirdhouses.com.

Potters Brown
We are the Potters Brown....Doug and Beth Brown. We play in the mud....everyday...... we make things for people to use..... everyday. We think there is nothing better than eating and serving off of something beautiful, and something handmade from start to finish. We make the clay, we make the pot, we fire it, we hand paint it with glazes that we make, and then we fire it again. It is strong and it is beautiful and it is unique. We love to cook and entertain and we make things for folks who like to do the same. We have culinary pieces, like salt cellars, olive oil bottles, whisk bowls and items to make cooking fun. We have dinnerware and serving pieces, and all items are oven, food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Browse the showroom and feel free roam around. You may find the real boss, Squeaky the cat, sleeping in a bowl on the counter. Doug moved to Edom in 1971 and started the Edom Craft Community. Come and see why he thought this was a special place. We are usually open every day, but call to be sure. 8287 FM 279, Edom. 903.852.6473. www.pottersbrown.com.
